TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CERTIFICATE ON THE USE OF EXPERIMENTAL ANIMALS
2-12 January 2023
Theoretical classes of the program will be held offline (Participants will be able to watch the video lessons from the system for 9 days,) and the applied classes will be held face-to-face (on the last 3 days) at Experimental Animals Research Center of Başkent University.
Training hours of the program: 40 theoretical + 35 hours applied
Content of the program: Certificate Training on the Use of Experimental Animals
Requirements for participation:
Category A– Researchers: Those who perform procedures on animals,
Category B- Agriculture / veterinary healthcare technician, technician, or laboratory worker employed in animal health, care, feeding and production under the direction of the responsible veterinarian.
In accordance with the regulations, it is obligatory to attend 80% of each of the theoretical and applied classes of the certificate training programs on the use of experimental animals. The participants are required to get at least 70 points out of 100 in the theoretical and practical exams to be held at the end of the training.
Quota: There is no quota restriction for participation in the theoretical part of the training course. In case the number of participants exceeds 20 people, the applied classes of the training program will be divided into 2 or more groups and held at different times.
Note: A registration form will be sent to the participants after their application.
