The award ceremony of the 5th International Başkent University Open Chess Tournament, organized by the cooperation of Başkent University and Turkish Chess Federation, was held on July 7th, 2022 on Bağlıca Campus. Rector of Başkent University Prof.Dr. Haldun Müderrisoğlu, President of the Turkish Chess Federation Gülkız Tülay, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Füsun Eyidoğan, Başkent University Chess Coach FI Aylin ibişoğlu, athletes, parents and guests attended the award ceremony of the tournament where about 00 athletes from 7 different countries and 44 different cities made their moves in six categories. The ceremony ended with the awarding of prizes to the athletes achieving the ranks.
